Welcome!The Ice Box Skating Club is based in South Bend, Indiana at the Ice Box Skating Rink. Class information for the beginning skater or continuing skater (including dates, times, cost, and descriptions) may be found on the Group Lessons page linked at the left. Please feel free to look around, and maybe we will see you on the ice! Come Learn to Skate With Us...Our eight week session is just what you need, and there is no better time than now to join our skating program. The fourth session of the 2007-2008 skating season began June 10th, 2008 with classes on Tuesday evenings beginning at 5:30. Consider joining us! The full session schedule is available on the Session Schedule page. Contact us to reserve a space for your skater in this session. Reservation requests received after noon on Friday will be considered for the following week. NOTE: In order to ensure that all members receive quality instruction, we will limit class size of the learn to skate group lessons. As such, there may be times when some group class offerings are filled to capacity. If this is the case, we will make every effort to contact you using information in your reservation request. If we do not have a reservation for you, you may be invited to skate as our guest the first week so that we may adjust classes for the next week to accommodate you while maintaining our class ratios. The Ice Box Skating Club is sanctioned by the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). USFSA is the governing body of skating in the United States.
Our Mission
The Ice Box Skating Club offers an enjoyable skating experience for the entire family with a friendly atmosphere for both the recreational and competitive skater. Our focus is to help everyone improve their fitness, skill and confidence. Teaching to us means caring about people and having fun. At the Ice Box Skating Club, we will never forget that.
